Trailhead Canoes is committed to delivering premium canoes that serve our customers for years. We take pride in the craftsmanship and materials used in our products. As such, we provide the following warranty terms for our canoes:
Warranty Coverage: Trailhead Canoes warrants each new canoe, when purchased from an authorized Trailhead dealer, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the usable life of the canoe to the original purchaser.
Warranty Services: Should a defect in materials or craftsmanship be discovered during the warranty period, Trailhead Canoes will, upon inspection by qualified staff members, repair or replace the canoe or its components at our discretion.
Exclusions:
- This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
- Canoes that have been modified or structurally altered.
- Damage due to abuse, misuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Canoes used for commercial rental purposes.
- Canoes that have been repaired by third parties without prior authorization from Trailhead Canoes.
- Factory seconds and canoes with blemishes are excluded from this warranty.
Warranty Claim Process:
- Please report any warranty issues to the dealer that sold the boat.
- All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original receipt of purchase.
- The owner is responsible for all transportation costs to and from our facility for warranty services.
- Warranty eligibility will be determined by Trailhead Canoes’ authorized representative upon assessment of the canoe.
Repair Authorization: All repairs under warranty must be performed by Trailhead Canoes. If external repairs are deemed necessary, prior authorization must be obtained from Trailhead Canoes.
